The Stefan Batory Higher School of Business (WSH) in Piotrkow Tryb. was created on the basis of the Law enacted on 26 June 1997 (Journal of Law No. 96, item 590, 1998.) concerning higher vocational schools as well as by the decision of the Ministry of National Education of 21 May 2003, no. DSW-3-4100-278/JP/03. By the decision of the Ministry of National Education of 23 June 2003, no. DSW-3-4001-386/JG/03 Piotrkow Higher School of Business was recorded in the Ministry of Education Register of Non-state Higher Vocational Schools under no. 128
The Statutes as well as the Regulations of Study passed by the Senate of WSH in Piotrków Tryb are the basis for the functioning of the school. The Statutes were approved by the Ministry of National Education by the decision of 23 June 2003, no. DSW-3-4011-187/JG/03.
Since 1 September 2005 the school has been operating in accordance with the Higher Education Act of 27 July 2005 (Journal of Law No. 164, item1365).
